Our Story

About
Battle Tested®
Coffee Company

Searching the globe for the best cup of coffee

While serving in Operation Desert Storm in the Middle East, I was with my team spending 4 days out in the desert on assignment, when we came across a 5 STAR resort in the middle of nowhere… and the best cup of coffee I ever had. I spent decades around the world searching for beans that could replicate that coffee, with no luck. So, I decided to recreate that roast myself. Battle Tested® is gourmet roasted to order for the freshest coffee delivered to you. Battle Tested Coffee Supports Veteran and First Responder 501(c)3 organizations.

Where Our Beans
Come From

Great coffee starts long before the roast. Our beans are sourced from respected coffee-growing regions around the world, with each origin bringing its own character, flavor and complexity to the cup.

High-elevation growing regions, responsible farming practices and carefully selected beans all play a role in what makes exceptional coffee. Through our roasting partner, we have access to coffees sourced through established relationships and responsible sourcing programs designed to preserve quality from origin to roast.

From the farm to the roaster, every step matters. We select coffees for the qualities that make a memorable cup — then have them craft roasted in small batches to bring those characteristics forward.

There's a difference.

Veteran Founded.
Veteran Owned.

Battle Tested® wasn't simply started by a Veteran. We remain Veteran owned and operated.

The values learned through military service — accountability, integrity, commitment and taking care of the people beside you — aren't part of a marketing campaign. They're part of how we run our company.

When you choose Battle Tested® Coffee, you're supporting a business that is still owned by a Veteran, still operated with those values, and still committed to giving back to the Veteran and First Responder communities we serve.

Veteran Founded. Veteran Owned. Battle Tested.
